New persons in the project are requested to do this introduction to learn about the project objectives, its aim, the definition of 'competence' and 'competence development'. To learn about the requirements for the technical and organisational infrastructure that TENCompetence will be delivering and to have some basic knowledge about the structure, processes and assessment criteria in the project.

The TENC Quarterly meeting will be held in Salzburg on 4-6 June 2008, following a special track TSSOL08 in the conference on 2 and 3 June.
The TENCompetence Quarterly meeting will be held in Madrid on 7-11

Objective of this meeting is a) to develop the interaction designs for the usage profiles that are prioritized and should be ready by May 2008 (web + rcp), b) to select a web framework that supports the programming and -provides tools for community/learning network support. This framework should give us a quickstart for the implementation of the web clients for the usage profiles.
